Seatwise runs entirely in your browser. There are no user accounts and no Seatwise database.
What stays on your device
Your guest list, tables, and seating plan are saved in your browser's localStorage. We never see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so use Export to keep a copy.
Share links
When you create a share link, the plan is encoded directly in the URL. Anyone with the link can view the plan. We do not store the link or its contents; treat it like any document you forward.
Hosting logs
Seatwise is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a Google service, at seatwise-seating.web.app. Google's hosting logs may record standard server request data, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is Google's infrastructure logging, not tracking that we add, and we do not set any cookies of our own.
Payments
Pro licenses are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and processes your payment. Lemon Squeezy sends us your email address, purchase date, and license key. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy governs how your card details are handled. We use your email only to deliver the key and to answer support requests.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookie-free: it sets no cookies and collects no personal identifiers, only aggregate traffic numbers such as page views, referrers, and browser type. Inside the app we also count a few steps, such as "imported a guest list" or "opened the upgrade screen", by recording a page path like /e/first-import/free. These counts never include guest names, table names, or anything from your plan.
Fonts and script files
To show the pages, your browser downloads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) and one open-source script, lz-string, from cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com), which builds share links on your device. Like any website request, these send your IP address and browser type to Google and Cloudflare. They receive nothing from your guest list or plan.
Optional support assistant
The support assistant is not switched on yet. When it is, if you use the in-app support assistant, the text of your question and some non-personal app context (such as your plan type and guest count) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate an answer. Anthropic does not store this data. Avoid putting names, emails, or other identifying details in your question if you would rather not send them.
Deletion
Email aimansadab+seatwise@gmail.com from your purchase address and we will delete your purchase record within 14 days. Lemon Squeezy may retain transaction records as required by law.
