Seatwise vs Prismm (formerly AllSeated)
Prismm, which used to be AllSeated, is owned by Cvent and is winding down. If you are rebuilding a wedding, gala or dinner somewhere else, this page sets out what Prismm offered, what Seatwise does and costs, and where each fits.
What Prismm (AllSeated) costs and does
- Priced as an enterprise subscription, quoted per customer. As of September 21, 2026, per PlanSeats' Prismm comparison page.
- Had auto-seating and poster or board export. As of September 21, 2026, per PlanSeats' Prismm comparison page.
- Goes view-and-export only from October 1, 2026: you can open existing floor plans and pull data out, but not create or edit events. As of September 28, 2026, per PlanSeats' Prismm comparison page.
- Closes completely on December 31, 2026. As of September 28, 2026, per Floors.live's Prismm migration page.
- Cvent points Prismm users to its own Event Diagramming tool, and templates do not migrate to it. As of September 28, 2026, per PlanSeats' Prismm comparison page.

What Seatwise costs and does
- Free to build: paste or import a guest list, add tables, set keep-together and keep-apart rules, press Auto-seat, and preview every export full size on screen.
- $12 once for one event turns on printing and Copy as text for the floor plan, per-table lists, the find-your-seat board and the escort-card CSV. No subscription.
- The Planner licence is $49 a year for unlimited events, with your name and logo on each export.
- No account. The plan is saved in your browser and never uploaded.
- No 3D rendering, room measurement, live co-editing or QR seat finder.

Who should pick which
Pick Prismm (AllSeated) if
- You need 3D room rendering, AV or rigging diagrams, room measurement, or live co-editing with a client. Seatwise has none of these. Cvent's Event Diagramming is the path Cvent offers.
- Your company already buys Cvent and wants every event in one enterprise system.
Pick Seatwise if
- You used Prismm for guests, tables and seating rules, and want the same job done in a browser tab with no account.
- You run one event: building and auto-seating is free, and printing is $12 once.
- You run many events: the Planner licence is $49 a year for unlimited events, with your name and logo on each export.
- Your client asks where the guest list is stored. In Seatwise it stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
Moving from Prismm to Seatwise
Prismm stays exportable after October 1, so you can still get your data out. After December 31 you cannot. Seating layouts do not transfer between tools; the guest list does.
- Export the guest list. In Prismm, open Reports, set the report type to Guests, pick the fields (name, party, RSVP, meal), press Generate, then Export to CSV. Do it for each event.
- Paste it into Seatwise. Open Seatwise, press Import list in the Guests panel, choose "CSV with header row" and paste. Columns named name, household, group, rsvp, meal and notes are picked up; email, phone and table columns are ignored.
- Rebuild the tables. Add each table with its shape and seat count. Save a PDF of the old Prismm floor plan first so you have the layout to copy.
- Rewrite the rules. Prismm's seating logic does not export. Open a guest's editor and add pairs under Keep together or Keep apart. People in the same household stay together without a rule.
- Lock, then auto-seat. Seat the head table and family tables by hand, lock them, and press Auto-seat for everyone else.
